Rising Phoenix 2023 Men's Soccer Senior Day Photo Story

On Oct. 25, the Elon University men's soccer team honored and celebrated its 13-player graduating class prior to its match against Greensboro College at Rudd Field. The Phoenix went on to win the game 5-0 behind key contributions from several of its seniors and departing players.

Luca Erhardt

A new edition to the Phoenix in 2023, Erhardt made 12 appearances, including eight starts. He scored a goal in Elon's pivotal 2-0 win over College of Charleston on Oct. 21 and a season-high 78 minutes in a 1-0 win against UNCW on Oct. 28.

Isak Sedin

A graduate transfer from La Salle, Sedin has been an impact player for the Phoenix in 2023. Sedin logged 760 minutes in the regular season, tallying two assists, including one in Elon's crucial 3-2 win over Campbell on Oct. 14.

Eddy Righetti

Righetti joined the Phoenix in 2023 after starting his college soccer career at Young Harris. Righetti made eight starts in 11 appearances and picked up an assist against Monmouth on Sept. 9.

Franc Gamiz Quer

One of the best defenders in the CAA, Gamiz Quer was selected to the All-CAA Second Team after logging 1,314 minutes in the regular season. Gamiz Quer scored two crucial goals for the Phoenix, the first a tying goal in Elon's 2-2 draw at High Point on Sept. 13 and the other in a 2-0 CAA win at College of Charleston on Oct. 21.

Gustavo Atencio

In two seasons with the Phoenix, Atencio made 19 appearances, including seven starts. He recorded an assist in Elon's crucial 3-2 victory over Campbell on Oct. 14.

Michael Clow

In two seasons with Elon, Clow made 24 starts in 33 appearances. He scored a pair of goals in 2022 and tallied 735 regular-season minutes in 2023.

Myson Darden

A stalwart on Elon's back line over the past two seasons, Darden has made 25 starts in maroon and gold. He scored one goal in 2022 and another in 2023 and his 1,288 minutes in 2023 trailed only Gamiz Quer.

Sam Durand

A four-year member of the Phoenix, Durand appeared in 45 matches, making seven starts. Durand netted two goals and tallied two assists in his career, seeing an increase in minutes in each season.

Jack Dolk

Dolk's signature moment for the maroon and gold came in 2022 when he scored a brace in Elon's 3-0 win over North Carolina. Dolk made 23 starts in his four years with the Phoenix, totaling six goals and five assists.

Victor Stromsten

A breakout star for the Phoenix in 2023, Stromsten scored a career-best four goals in the regular season, including a pair in a crucial tie at Northeastern on Oct. 7. Stromsten has 15 career starts and seven career goals.

Charlie Kurz

Kurz was the star of Elon's 5-0 victory over Greensboro College on his Senior Night, tallying his first career goal and assist. Kurz played the full 90 minutes against Greensboro for the first time in his college career.

Uli Schmidt

Just like Kurz, Schmidt delivered the first goal and assist of his Elon career on his Senior Night and went the full 90 minutes in Elon's 5-0 victory over Greensboro College.

Ben Rosenblatt

One of the faces of Elon soccer over the past four years, Rosenblatt, a captain for the Phoenix, has made 40 starts in maroon and gold. He has recorded three goals and an assist in his career and went over 1,000 minutes in two of his last three seasons.
